How to lose weight effectively?


Losing weight too quickly or suddenly may be a very dangerous things to do. Diet pills or fasting may seem to help in losing weight the quick way but these methods are only temporary and as soon as you stop eating the diet pills or fasting, you often find your weight gaining rapidly and more than your previous weight. The best way to lose weight would be to follow the below suggested steps

  1. Check your BMI and determine your daily calorie intake. To lose one pound, you need to burn at least 3500 calories!
  2. Write down the things that you eat on a typical day and decide which foods needed to cut out and which are the ones that needs to be reduced.
  3. Look at the alternative foods compared to the unhealthy food. For example, replace soda with water or opt for low calorie or low fat foods, replace beef or pork with lean meat such as salmon or chicken
  4. Watch out for your portion size. Not all food needed to eat in large portion. Cutting your portion into half will do wonders.
  5. Opt for healthy snacks instead of greasy high salt content snacks
  6. Drink lots of water and get more fiber into your system
  7. Do high level aerobic exercise such as jogging or brisk walking
  8. Be consistent, self motivate and discipline
